Fields: Add/Edit BLUEcloud Connections
Specifies the settings for BLUEcloud connections. If a library has access to more than one collection in BLUEcloud Central, it must create a separate connection for each collection.

Name
Specifies the name (up to 30 characters) for this connection. The Name appears in the drop-down list when assigning connections to search profiles. This is a required field.
Description
Specifies the description (up to 255 characters) for the connection. The description can provide additional context for admins, including such relevant content as the file types of the connected collection.
BLUEcloud Customer Key
When you register with SirsiDynix for a BLUEcloud service (such as eResource Central), an account is set up with a customer key and an institution name. Multiple institutions can be tied to a single customer key. This is a required field.
BLUEcloud Institution
Each BLUEcloud customer key provides access to different BLUEcloud institutions. Changing the customer key will change the list of institutions available in this field. Within the SirsiDynix BLUEcloud Administrator, you use the institution to select and enable the services available to your library. If you are a member of a consortium, you may have a number of institutions available, however you can associate only one institution per connection. This is a required field.
Note: If there are no associated institutions listed, your library has not registered for a BLUEcloud service. Contact your SirsiDynix representative for subscription details.
